FREE E-Recycling Event At YMCA Sacramento On September 24
YMCA Sacramento (2021 W Street, Sacramento) is hosting a FREE Electronics Recycling (E-Recycling) Event on 24 Sacramento 2011 (9AM-3PM PST).
The event is sponsored by All Green Electronics Recycling, e-Stewards, and eRecycle.org.
Please bring your unused electronics so they do not end up in landfills. ALL electronics include:
-Cables and Wires
-Cell Phones
-Computers
-Ink and Toner Cartridges
-Laptops
-Microwaves
-Monitors
-MP3 Players
-Printers
-Scanners
-Televisions
Please note: For computers with hard disks, please make sure you securely erase the drives. I personally prefer Darik’s Boot And Nuke, but there are numerous “data shredding” programs available.
UPDATE: While the flyer I received does not say it explicitly, appliances will probably not be accepted. Not certain, but please double check.
